A Letter from Curtis and Dianna

Curtis and Dianna

Dear Birth Mother,

We want to thank you for choosing life for your baby, and we want you to know we admire and respect you for the decisions you are making for your baby.  We pray God guides you in your decisions and gives you peace.  We hope this letter will help answer some of the questions we are sure you have about us.
We are Curtis and Dianna.  We have been married for fifteen years.  We have one biological child, Paige, but we are unable to have any more children due to medical reasons.  We believe adoption is a wonderful option to extend our love and support to a child and to you, the birth mother.
Curtis currently works as a Sergeant in the State Prison system where he has been employed more than five years.  Curtis is a quiet person but a strong person who loves and protects his family.  He likes to fish and hunt; and, when possible, he enjoys taking our daughter fishing with him.  Dianna is a teacher at a middle school, working with special needs children.  She is patient with them, loves children and appreciates the opportunity to guide them toward success in life.  Outside of teaching, Dianna enjoys being around friends and family.  She is an outgoing person who is caring, cheerful, and thoughtful around other people.  As a couple, we love each other and enjoy spending time together.  We like to watch movies, see new things, travel, and just talk with each other.  We also have lots of family time with Paige and enjoy watching her have fun in many activities.
Our home is located on 25 acres of land a few miles away from town.  The backyard is fenced so children can play within a visual range of our home.  We also have a dog named Matty who is good with children.  On our acreage is a small pond for fishing.  It is a peaceful place to live and enjoy God’s creation.  Dianna’s parents also have a home on this land.  They enjoy visits from the grandchildren, and they love and care for them and help out when needed.  We love being around our extended family.  We all visit each other when an opportunity arises.  Family reunions once a year are so much fun with our families and we visit our siblings and their families as often as possible.  Our families are very excited about our adopting!
As a family, we are faithful to God and are active in our church.  Dianna loves to assist in the children’s ministry and Curtis is involved in the men’s ministry.  We share our spiritual values with Paige and will share them with any other child in our home.
We love our family and want to share our love with another child.  We would be honored to raise your baby in a loving Christian home, and we look forward to telling our child what a truly unselfish hero his/her birth mother really is.

In Christian love,
Curtis and Dianna
