A Letter from Donnie and Tammy
Dear Birthmother:
What a strong and courageous woman you are for choosing life over other options. We are very proud of the love and respect you have for your baby and pray God will give you strength and guidance during this time as you make some very important decisions.
We are Donnie nad Tammy, and we are very excited about adopting another baby. When we married 13 years ago, our dream was to have a family. After discovering we were unable to have children biologically, we turned to adoption. We believe God’s plan for us is to become adoptive parents, and we consider adoption an extraordinary way to become a family. We will love your child unconditionally and plan to always let your child know of you and your special love.
We are looking forward to becoming parents again, as we have adopted both of our children from Christian Homes. Our son Dylan was born in October of 2003, and our daughter, Kylee, was born in August of 2006. Adding these children to our family were both awesome experiences that words can’t even begin to describe. We are so thankful God is blessing us with the opportunity to adopt another beautiful child. Dylan and Kylee are both very excited about having a little brother or sister.
Donnie is a member of the 798 Welders Union and works out of town some. He has been in this field for almost 3 years, and he really enjoys his work. He also enjoys raising horses, ranch work, and deer hunting. He is a very hard-working and family-oriented person.
Tammy owns her own accounting service. She has been self-employed for 9 years, after working for an accounting firm for 6 years. It has been the most wonderful and rewarding time for her to work out of our home, as she has the opportunity to be a stay-at-home mom. Tammy looks forward to spending time with friends and family, which includes regular visits from 5 nieces and 3 nephews we love to spend time with and who can’t wait to come see us.
We spend most of our time together and believe it has played an important role in our loving, stable marriage. Together, we have thoroughly enjoyed building our own home and currently live in our country home on 15 acres. Our home is located two miles from a small Central Texas town. We live on a county road, which two of Tammy’s aunts also live on. There are no other neighbors, so the road is very quiet, with no traffic. We have lots of horses and dogs, and our children love being in the country. We also have plenty of family close by, as both of our parents live in town. We are blessed to have such a great support system and a large, wonderful extended family.
We feel grateful you are considering us as your baby’s parents. Please be assured we will always love your child unconditionally and raise him/her in a very loving, caring, and understanding home.
