A Letter from Robert and Natalie
Dear Birth Mother,
We cannot possibly imagine the overwhelming emotions that you must be feeling as you try to make the best possible decision for you and for your baby. We respect and admire you for choosing life for your child. We pray that God will comfort you and give you peace now and in the future.
We are Robert and Natalie. We married in 2006, and we are looking forward to the opportunity to enlarge and enrich our family. We have one child, Ty, who is fourteen years old. He is very excited about having a baby brother or sister. Our marriage is stable and strong and is based on our love for Christ and mutual respect. We have had some tough trials to endure, including the loss of a child. God’s grace has carried us through our trials and made us stronger as a family.
Robert has a Bachelor’s degree in industrial technology. He owns a custom welding and construction business. He also enjoys baling hay in the summer as a side business. He works very hard to provide for our family and always gives back to God a portion of what He has given to us. Robert has been a wonderful stepfather to our children. Our children were eight and ten when they came into his life. We are very excited for him to get to experience fatherhood from the beginning of a child’s life. He is very patient and loving but also firm and consistent. He has a great sense of humor and usually keeps us laughing.
Natalie has a Bachelor’s degree in business administration. She is a certified public accountant and has been a stay-at-home mom for the last few years caring for our daughter, Morgan, as she fought cancer and ultimately lost her battle. Natalie currently has plans to start her own accounting practice. She plans to work from home during a majority of the year so that she can spend as much time with the baby as possible. She enjoys spending time in the kitchen baking and creating new recipes. She is very generous, loving, and considerate of others.
We are both active in our church. We enjoy watching professional sports and like to go to games when we can. We enjoy spending time with our son, playing games, bowling, going out to dinner, playing basketball in the backyard, or just hanging out watching television together. We try to go on some sort of family vacation each year. In the last couple of years, we have taken the kids to the beach and also snow skiing.
Our home is located on twenty acres in the country, close to a small Texas town, but within 50 miles of a much larger city. We have a few pets. Maggie and Doby are our Yorkshire Terriers. We also have an outdoor dog, Dixie, and two outdoor cats. We love living in the country. Robert’s parents live just a few miles away on their ranch, where they raise cattle and horses. They are thrilled with the idea of a baby joining the family.
As we go through this adoption experience together, we want to be as sensitive to your needs as possible. We prefer open or semi-open adoption, but will consider closed adoption if it better serves your needs. We look forward to adding another child to our family to love, care for, and show the love of Christ. We hope to meet you and learn more about you soon.
May God bless you and your precious baby,
Robert and Natalie
